Border Guard Command’s delegation extends Tet greetings to border post

On the occasion, the unit’s chain-of-command briefed the delegates upon their task performance, national sovereignty protection work. In addition, the unit also ensured political security and social order in border areas, among others.

Addressing the event, Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan acknowledged and hailed the unit’s achievements over the past year, which together with the local authorities contributed to ensuring stability in all fields and fulfilling all set targets.

He also requested the unit to continue to take care of troops’ life and address any arising issues in the unit.

He expressed his hope that the unit would overcome all difficulties to help local authorities and people develop economy, enhance defense and security, and effectively reduce poverty.

On the occasion of the lunar New Year 2024, on behalf of the delegation, the political commissar wished troops of Thanh Luong Border Post good health, solidarity, and good luck. He also asked them to actively grasp the situation so as to ensure absolute safety for local people during the lunar New Year holiday, while taking care of border people, especially policy and needy households.
