Over the past years, the blood donation movement has widely spread in the community. According to statistics, more than 16 million units of blood have been collected. Meanwhile, various voluntary blood donation activities have been organized across the country and obtained great success.

It can be affirmed that the voluntary blood donation movement in Vietnam in general and in the military in particular has received much attention from leaders at all levels and achieved positive results, contributing to handling the shortage of blood and raising public awareness of blood donation and heightening their responsibility to the community.

The Military Academy of Logistics, over the past years, has effectively conducted information dissemination and education among officers, instructors, staff, cadets and soldiers about the significance of blood donation.

Also, the academy has closely teamed up with relevant units, especially Tien phong Newspaper and Military Hospital 108 in blood donation work, and mobilized more than 10,000 troops and Youth Union members to join the movement. As a result, they have collected more than 9,000 blood units.

This year, nearly 500 cadets, officers, instructors, staff from the academy and their relatives participated in the Red Sunday 2024.
