Vinamilk inaugurates new high-tech dairy farm
PANO - The Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) has recently held an inaugural ceremony for a high-tech dairy farm in Thanh Hoa province in the presence of Politburo member Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission of the Party Central Committee.
The facility, covering a total area of 40ha in Thong Nhat town, Yen Dinh district, was built with an investment of VND 700 billion.

Being designed to raise 4,000 milk cows, the farm is granted the global GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) certification in recognition of its farm management, raw milk quality, and application of state-of-the-art technology.
It is the first of its kind to be built in the Vinamilk Thanh Hoa dairy farm complex, which will have four more high-tech farms with up to 20,000 dairy cows to supply 110 million liters per year by 2020.

Vinamilk CEO Mai Kieu Lien said that the inauguration of the farm aimed to help Vinamilk to achieve its business goals, while contributing to boosting the development of the dairy industry in Thanh Hoa and Vietnam in general.
Also at the ceremony, the "Standing Tall Vietnam" Milk Fund, launched by Vinamilk, granted an amount of milk equivalent to VND 400 million to Thanh Hoa children.
