PANO - A delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC), led by its President Nguyen Thien Nhan, on June 11th, visited the People's Army Newspapers (PAN) in celebration of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st, 1925 - June 21st 2015). Senior Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People's Army and delegates from the department took part in the visit.
PAN's Editor-in-Chief Major General Pham Van Huan thanked the VFFCC's care for PAN and briefed the VFFCC leader on the newspaper's achievements after 65 years of development (since October 20th, 1950). The growth of PAN has always been closely connected to the army's developments and feats of arms over the past time. It has been awarded many State noble titles for its great contributions to the national struggle and liberation cause, he stressed.
For his part, VFFCC President Nguyen Thien Nhan hailed the newspaper's results and expressed his delight for the unit's contribution to further strengthening the great national unity bloc over the past time. Besides, he hoped that each PAN reporter would strive to be a pioneer in the field of thought and reasoning during the national construction and defence cause, and the newspaper would make a great effort to renew its contents and forms, contributing to reflecting exact information for readers and firmly affirming the Party and State's viewpoints against hostiles' harmful allegations.
