During the checking visit, Gen. Anh was reported that the command has worked with local departments to keep a close watch on the developments of situations in the stationed locality. The command has also embraced and realized higher levels’ directives, instructions, and regulations on combat readiness work, enhanced education for troops so that they always stand ready to undertake and complete all assignments.

It has well advised local authorities to carry out military-defense tasks in combination with socio-economic development.

As the National Day holiday is drawing near, the provincial military command has directed its affiliates to develop combat readiness plans.

In his concluding speech, Gen. Anh highly appreciated the command’s pro-activeness, high sense of responsibility, and good results in combat readiness training, especially its development of combat readiness plans for the upcoming National Day holiday.

The deputy chief of the General Staff asked the unit to bring into play its achievements, overcome difficulties to fulfill all assigned tasks. He asked it to continue observing combat readiness regulations, improve the efficiency of recommendations on military, defense work and defensive area building, and enhance combat readiness training, among others.

The same day, Gen. Anh checked the performance of combat readiness work of Depot KV2 of the Department of Weaponry and Ammunition under the General Department of Technical Services.

On inspecting the combat readiness and depot safety according to protection scenarios, Gen. Anh requested the unit to regularly practice scenarios to ensure the good performance of combat readiness work, safety of depots to meet training and combat readiness duty requirements.

Over the past eight months, the depot has met all set targets, upheld internal solidarity, unity, and made its personnel feel secure to contribute more to the unit’s development. So far, it has completed 71 per cent of the year plan 2023.
