PANO – A delegation of the Naval Region 4 Command handed over gifts to troops on Nam Yet Island of the Truong Sa (Spratly) district, Khanh Hoa province, on January 19th.

The presents, including food and necessities, will help troops enjoy a warm Tet festival 2016.

Over the past year, troops on duty on the island have successfully fulfilled training and combat readiness missions and built up a strong unit and comprehensive and strong party organization.

Senior Colonel Bui Hai Phuoc, Chief of Staff of the region’s Brigade 146 and head of the delegation, extended New Year’s wishes to troops on duty on the island and asked them to heighten their vigilance, promote solidarity, and strictly maintain combat readiness, especially before, during and after the 12th National Party Committee and Tet holiday.
