Gen. Chien hands over Tet gifts to the Lang Son provincial Military Command.

Heads of units, namely the Lang Son provincial Military Command, the Border Guard Command, Van Lang district’s Military Command, Tan Thanh Border Post, the Border Post of Huu Nghi International Border Gate, provincial Public Security, reported on their units’ outstanding accomplishments in 2024 and missions for 2025.

They emphasized the units’ pro-active grasping, evaluation, and forecasting of situations, time suggestions to deal with emerging issues, good performance of combat readiness duties, and prompt preparations for the upcoming lunar New Year (Tet).

The defense leader lauded units’ attainments, particularly their good implementation of defense and military work, advice on building the whole-people’s defense disposition coupled with the people’s security posture, and results in force regularity building, discipline observance, and mass mobilization work.

He asked units’ Party committees, chains-of-command to promote solidarity, concentrate their leadership and direction on implementing tasks right on first days of 2025 with quality higher than previous year, contributing to upholding political security, social order and safety in border areas, building the borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

Units were also urged to enhance administrative reform, digital transformation, IT application, smart border gates, digital border gates, and pay attention to organizing a cozy Tet for troops and local people.

On the occasion of the upcoming Tet, Gen. Chien extended Tet greetings and handed over Tet gifts from the CMC and MND to units and to policy beneficiary families in Van Lang district.

Sending Tet wishes to officers and soldiers of the Lang Son provincial Public Security force, Gen. Chien hoped that they would continue working closely and effectively with military forces in the locality to complete all assigned missions.
