Meanwhile, Hung Phu ward’s Military Command in District 8 also conducts strict training covering many contents. This year, the unit has pro-actively built plans, prepared materials and lesson plans, among others. Training work is implemented from basic to complex, individual to team drills, prioritizing quality. Second-in-Command Officer Le Van Loi said that given the fact that the ward has been restructured, with the larger area and heavier tasks and uneven militiamen's awareness, training must be practical and in line with reality. Therefore, instructors need suitable teaching methods for them.

Accordingly, District 8’s Military Command, adhering to the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command’s training directives, instructed affiliated units to follow all regulations during training while mastering weapons and ensuring training work in line with reality.

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Thanh Phong, Commanding Officer of District 8’s Military Command underscored that training quality reflects officers’ competence and the unit’s combat readiness. Thus, the district’s Party Committee and Military Command focus on enhancing training and honing officers’ skills and methods, which are also the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command’s directives in 2025.
