PM extends New Year greetings to troops of Naval Service
PANO - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc inspected the combat readiness posture and extended New Year greetings to troops of the Naval Service on January 30 in Hai Phong city.
At the Naval Service Command, on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, the Prime Minister sent his best wishes to troops and civilians on Truong Sa, Nam Yet, and Sinh Ton islands of Truong Sa island district (Khanh Hoa province) via a videoconference.

Talking with the naval troops, Phuc affirmed that the country’s socio-economic achievements in 2018 were partly contributed by the Vietnam People’s Army, including the Naval Service.
The top government official hailed naval troops for their task performance in 2018, affirming that this has served as an important ground for the whole service to continue fulfilling assigned missions at best in the coming time.
The Prime Minister believed that the naval force would firmly safeguard national sovereignty, foster internal solidarity, and accomplish all assigned missions, including the external defense relations missions, assigned by the Party, State, Defense Minister, and people in 2019.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year holiday, the government official wished all naval troops good health, success, happiness and a cozy Lunar New Year festival.
