Party’s resolutions introduced to key military officials
PANO - The Central Military Commission (CMC) held a video study conference on December 20 to introduce resolutions of the sixth Plenum of the 12th Party Central Committee to key military officials.
Addressing the conference, General
Ngo Xuan Lich, who is the Deputy Secretary of the CMC and Defense Minister,
stressed that the resolutions of the plenum are important policies of the Party
on crucial issues to the country. He required key officials of the whole
military to closely grasp the core and new contents, goals, major missions and
measures of the resolutions.
He reiterated that more attention
should be paid to applying theory to reality in implementing contents of the
resolutions related to military-defense work. Party committees, political commissars
and political agencies of units at all levels should place further stress on political
education for troops so as to create synergy and consensus in both will and
action in the whole military.
The cadres then listened to the
resolutions. Accordingly, Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang,
Chief of the General Staff, presented Resolution “Issues on continuing to
reform and rearrange the organizational structure of the political system in a
compact, effective and efficient manner”; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen
Trong Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics, introduced
Resolution “Continuing to reform and improve the organizational structure and
the efficiency of the management system of public service agencies”; Major
General Ho Ba Vinh, Acting-Director of the Information and Training Department
under the General Department of Politics, presented Resolution “Strengthening
the care, protection, and improvement for people’s health in the new period”;
Major General Nguyen Van The, Vice President of the Military Political
Academy, introduced Resolution “The population work in the new period.”
At the conference, Senior Lieutenant
General Nguyen Trong Nghia also guided participants to study, grasp and
implement the resolutions of the sixth Plenum (12th Party Central Committee) in
the Military Party Organization and the whole military.
