Naval Region 5 mission concludes visit to Southwestern islands

During the seven-day journey, the mission visited the islands of Phu Quoc, Hon Doc, Nam Du, Hon Chuoi, Hon Khoai and Tho Chu. Accordingly, the delegation had an opportunity to exchange and learn from the units’ experience in life, combat readiness duties and production of troops and people on the islands.

On the occasion, the delegation also presented gifts, including necessities to troops and islanders with the total budget of nearly VND 2 billion.
