Naval Region 2 mission concludes visit to DK1 platform
PANO - Ship 265, carrying a mission of Naval Region 2 (NR 2), arrived in Vung Tau City on Jan. 30, concluding a visit to present Tet (Lunar New Year festival) gifts to troops stationed on DK1 platforms and Con Dao island district.
During the 10-day journey, the mission with civilian and military reporters from both civilian and military press agencies has accomplished all assigned tasks, ensuring absolute safety during implementing its missions.

Accordingly, the mission transferred necessities, goods and Tet gifts to DK1/10, DK1/11, DK1/12, DK1/14 platforms and troops as well as islanders on Con Dao Island (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province).
The delegation of NR 2 also extended Tet greetings to troops and learned the units' situations to continue implementing NR 2's tasks in the coming time, supporting its affiliates to fulfill all missions towards defending national sovereignty over the seas and islands.
