MR7’s special forces practice parachuting
PANO - Commando and special reconnaissance forces of Military Region 7 and Ho Chi Minh City Command have completed a parachuting practice at Bien Hoa airport (Dong Nai province) with absolute safety and meeting the training requirements.
The practice session was inspected by Senior Colonel Pham Van Thuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7 (MR7), and Senior Colonel Le Xuan The, Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff of Ho Chi Minh Municipal Command.
Parachuting and airborne training is an important annual training content of the special reconnaissance troops. It requires each soldier to have firm stance, good skills, and good fitness to fulfill the assigned missions. The training helps increasingly raise troops’ bravery, techno-tactical skills, high combat determination and gives participants a chance to handle situations in a real combat condition.
With close support and instructions from instructors of Division 370 under the Air Defense – Air Force Service, and being well equipped with equipment, movements, techniques, safety measures, and knowledge of dealing with situations when landing, participating troops have mastered their movements, landed right at the pre-selected targets, and ensured absolute safety of personnel and materiel.
The People’s Army Newspaper Online would like to introduce several photos of the practice session.
