MR3 Command sends Tet greetings to troops on Northeastern islands
PANO – A mission of the Command of Military Region 3, led by its Deputy Chief - Major General Do Phuong Thuan, inspected the combat readiness status and sent Tet (lunar New Year festival) greetings to military units and people on Northeastern islands from January 21 – 23.
Through the inspection, the mission found that all units stationed on the islands in the Northeastern region have strictly observed regulations on combat readiness and are well-prepared for the organization of a cozy Tet. Meanwhile, the political and ideological education for troops has been carried out thoroughly and effectively, helping raise troops’ resilience and vigilance.

Units on the islands are active and pro-active in building combat readiness plans and stay alert to any arising situations, contributing to soundly dealing with unexpected incidents and firmly maintaining social security and order in the localities, especially during the upcoming Tet.
On this occasion, the mission also presented Tet gifts to the authorities of Van Don and Co To island districts, border guard stations, military units stationed at lighthouses, and policy beneficiaries’ families on the islands.
