Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Chiem at the teleconference

During the conference, the participants discussed the ministry’s nine-chapter working regulations that determine working principles, relations, methods and procedures for dealing with state management-related issues. They also exchanged views on the administrative reform project with six key tasks, which aim to build an effective, democratic, pure, and professional public administration and raise the quality of cadres to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and increasingly modernized army.

Addressing the event, General Chiem asked units to embrace the MND’s regulations and urged them to develop specific working regulations for their services, arms, sectors and units in line with their missions. Meanwhile, the offices of the Central Military Commission and the MND were tasked to check units’ implementation of the regulations as well as units’ progresses of building their regulations.

Regarding the reform project, General Chiem asked agencies in charge of sub-projects to cooperate to effectively carry out assigned tasks.
