The delegation was led by Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) cum Deputy Head of the Women Advancement Board Major General Nguyen Van Gau.

Reportedly, in 2022, MR5’s chains-of-command have directed their troops to seriously and effectively conduct the women advancement and gender equality work as regulated by higher levels. The region also issued regulations about the work while implementing action plans in 2022 in line with the reality and COVID-19 situation in the area.

Meanwhile, MR5’s affiliated units have also attached much importance to building and developing female personnel and created favorable conditions for them to raise their competence.

Gen. Gau concludes the event.

Concluding the event, General Gau hailed the good preparations of MR5 and the Dak Lak provincial Military Command, and applauded the units’ achievements in this work over the past time.

To better fulfill the task, the GDP’s deputy chief requested the region to closely work with the Women Advancement Board at all levels, while making recommendations so as to effectively perform the task.

In addition, MR5 should boost information dissemination to raise public awareness of gender equality. Each Women's Union member must have firm political stance, focus on their assigned tasks while taking care of their families.
