After listening to reports of the leaderships of the Bac Giang Provincial Military Command and Regiment 12 on their significant achievements in carrying out 2023 tasks, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang and the inspection team checked the combat readiness activities of Battalion 1, Regiment 12.

The inspection delegation reviewed the implementation of orders, instructions, and documents related to combat readiness tasks; the understanding of officers and soldiers regarding combat readiness missions; the combat documentation system; the staff work for training; regulatory building and military discipline management in the units; as well as their Party and political work.

During the working sessions with the units, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang commended their achievements while also pointing out existing shortcomings that need to be immediately addressed to enhance overall combat strength and readiness.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff requested the Bac Giang Provincial Military Command to continue effectively providing advice to local authorities regarding strategies and solutions for implementing military and defense tasks linked to socio-economic development. He urged the provincial military command to pro-actively grasp and accurately assess the situation to provide timely advice to Bac Giang province's authorities while preparing forces and vehicles for natural disaster response, and search and rescue missions.

For Regiment 12, Division 3, Military Region 1, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang emphasized the need to strictly maintain mission accomplishment at all levels, especially combat readiness during holidays, ensuring absolute safety. Regiment 12 was urged to prepare and organize training for its personnel according to plans. The Deputy Chief of the General Staff highlighted the need for intensified efforts in military discipline education, troops management, and prevention of discipline violations within the unit.
