Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics and Standing Vice Chairman of the MND's Emulation and Reward Council, attended and spoke at the event.
The military business’ achievements in carrying out the movement so far have served as a spiritual driving force to encourage its staff and workers to successfully fulfill all assigned missions. Particularly, by 2019, the Corporation has obtained a turnover of VND 2 trillion, with a pre-tax profit of VND 58 billion and contribution of VND 235 billion to the State budget.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and MND, General Nghia congratulated the business’ staff and workers on their excellent achievements in carrying out the “Determined to Win” emulation movement along with other missions of the business. Nghia asked the corporation to renew its implementation methods, so as to raise the efficiency of the movement and to combine the “Determined to Win” emulation movement with other movements, especially “Promoting tradition, devoting talent, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers.”
On the same day, the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard Command also reviewed its emulation movement and received the third class Military Exploit Order. Senior Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics, attended and delivered a speech at the event.
Reports at the event showed that the unit’s “Determined to Win” emulation movement has been regularly, comprehensively, and effectively implemented with a focus on political missions. The movement has served as a driving force for the unit’s troops and staff to fulfill all political tasks, contributing to building a politically-, ideologically-, organizationally-, and ethically-strong unit.
Speaking at the event, General Can praised the command’s achievements in implementing the movement from 2014 to 2019 and hoped that the unit will promote dissemination to help its troops and staff to embrace directives of the Party and State on military and defense missions as well as President Ho Chi Minh’s thought on emulation.
At the conference, General Can handed over the third class Military Exploit Order to the unit. The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard Command also presented emulation flags to two outstanding groups and merit certificates to two groups and 15 individuals with exceptional achievements in the emulation movement. Earlier, delegates reported the movement results and paid tribute to him at his mausoleum.
