Military school launches blood donation drive
PANO - On March 3, Military Hospital 103, in association with Army Officer Training School No. 1, launched the second blood donation drive in 2018 with the participation of over 900 youths.
During the event, the organizing board collected over 600 blood units. Since the beginning of 2018, the school has launched two blood donation drives with the first taking place on February 3 with the participation of nearly 1,000 troops and resulted in 820 blood units collected. The collected blood units were transferred to Military Hospital 103 for the treatment of patients, including wounded and sick soldiers and revolutionary contributors.
According to the school’s leadership, the blood donation drive contributed to raising troops’ responsibility to the community, showing the cultural beauty of each military soldier and promoting the image of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” in the minds of the people.
