In 2025, the Steering Committee and Standing Board for cooperation of the two units developed plans and effectively implemented the signed cooperation content, achieving several notable results.
Coordination in information and communications activities was strengthened through 51 thematic current affairs briefings for thousands of cadres, soldiers, and local residents in the area. In technology application, Military Region 5 continued effectively utilizing Viettel’s products and services to support Party and political work; maintained data SIM systems serving forces tasked with protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in cyberspace and conducting cyber operations; and participated in testing and providing feedback to improve technological products serving military tasks.

A major highlight of the cooperation program was social welfare activities and policies supporting military families. Notably, the two units coordinated the construction and handover of 19 comradeship houses for personnel of the armed forces of Military Region 5. They also organized numerous support activities for disadvantaged students and local residents.
This year, the two sides agreed to continue expanding and improving the effectiveness of their cooperation program. Key priorities include strengthening the application of new technological products; coordinating communications and network infrastructure protection; supporting digital transformation tasks, Party and political work; and continuing gratitude and social welfare activities across the military region.
At the conference, delegates exchanged views, discussed, and agreed upon key contents of the cooperation program 2026. Maintaining and expanding cooperation between Military Region 5 and Viettel Da Nang will help improve the effectiveness of each unit’s mission implementation, while creating momentum for scientific and technological application and digital transformation, meeting the requirements of building strong armed forces in Military Region 5 under the new situation.
