Military Region 5 launches Traffic Safety Month
PANO – The Department of Politics under the Military Region 5 Command held a ceremony on January 27 to launch the Traffic Safety Month in Da Nang city from February 1 to 28.
In response to the program, all officers and soldiers of the department are requested to strictly observe traffic safety regulations as well as the no-drinking driving rule.

Senior Colonel Doan Van Nhat, Deputy Chief of the department, urged functional agencies to make recommendations to the leadership to effectively implement the traffic safety month, in celebration of the on-going 13th National Party Congress and the founding anniversary of the Party (February 3).
In addition, all agencies and units of the military region should promote traffic law dissemination and education to raise troops’ awareness of traffic safety regulations.
Meanwhile, the agencies and units should also organize meetings for their subordinates to sign commitments to strictly observe the traffic law when participating in traffic.
Meanwhile, leaders of agencies and units should promptly honor individuals and units that seriously follow traffic laws and traffic safety regulations and promote good examples while strictly handling violations.
