Major Nong Quang Lap, Deputy Political Commissar of Son Vi Border Post, stated that to ensure border security during the New Year 2025 holiday, the station implemented several plans and measures, preparing equipment and weapons while maintaining adequate personnel for combat readiness.

On the New Year’s first day, the officers and soldiers visited local village heads and community leaders, presented gifts to disadvantaged households, and conducted information dissemination. They mobilized local people to join hands to prevent hostile forces from spreading wrongful information and inciting unrest. Additionally, they encouraged residents to adopt positive thinking and methods in production, improve cultural life in communities, eliminate outdated customs, and foster a civilized way of living.

This motto is not just frequently repeated but has become "an order from the heart" of every border guard officer and soldier. On the first day of 2025, the officers and soldiers of Son Vi Border Post, along with all Ha Giang border troops, remained steadfast in their duties along the frontier, contributing to ensuring border security and a peaceful and happy life for locals.
