Training and combat readiness work ensured during lunar New Year holiday
PANO - A delegation of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and Ministry of the National Defense (MND) led by Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To visited and extended New Year greetings to the Dak Lak provincial Military Command; Commando Brigade 198 (the Commando Corps); Regiment 95 (Division 2, Military Region 5); the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command and Se Re Pok Border Station on January 11.
After the inspection, Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To required the Party Committees and chains-of-command of the units to effectively implement training and combat readiness tasks during the lunar New Year (Tet) holiday; closely coordinated between the military and police forces to follow local situational developments and deal with arising issues in a timely manner, particularly along the borderline and in ethnic minority-inhabited areas.

The units should make preparations for troop deployment and training for 2025; take good care of troops during the Tet holiday; collaborated with local authorities to care for local people, especially ethnic people in difficult conditions, policy beneficiaries in stationed areas during Tet holiday.
On the occasion, Gen. To presented Tet greetings and gifts of the CMC and MND to troops of the units.

During the visits, Gen. to applauded the outstanding achievements obtained by the units over the past time; requiring them to thoroughly grasp the resolutions and directives of the CMC, MND; and well prepare necessary plans, personnel, weapons, and equipment for combat readiness tasks during the Tet holiday.

The units should coordinate with local authorities and the armed force should closely follow the situations; make preparations for the new training session for new enlistees in 2025; synchronously implement the Party and political work; ensure a warm, joyful, safe, healthy and economical Tet holiday for troops; and join hands with local authorities to support policy beneficiaries, national contributors and people in localities.
