Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff and Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Staff and offices under the Ministry of National Defense and civilian leaders of Dien Bien ward, Hanoi’s Ba Dinh district, attended the event.

The Headquarters of the General Staff has been chosen as polling station No. 11 of Dien Bien ward, where more than 2,000 voters, including incumbent and former leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, will cast their votes on election day.

At the event, General Tan and Dien Bien ward’s leadership checked the polling station’s decorations, security plans, fire prevention, COVID-19 prevention and control.

After checking, General Tan highly praised constituency No. 11 for its thorough preparations for the upcoming election. He asked it to pay special attention to preventing COVID-19, providing hand sanitizer, and requesting voters to wear face masks during the voting.

General Tan also asked relevant units to double check, adjust, and complete the remaining work with a high sense of determination for a successful election.
