On listening to the report on the regiment’s task performance in 2024 and the first months of 2025 and hearing the inspection team’s feedback on various aspects of the unit’s work, General Cuong concluded that the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of Regiment 66 have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions and directives from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Party Committee and Command of Army Corps 34 regarding training and combat readiness. The unit has well maintained a disciplined environment; effectively carried out Party and political work; ensured timely logistics and financial support for missions; received and distributed weapons, equipment, and vehicles for training and combat readiness tasks.

Regarding future tasks, General Cuong requested the unit’s Party Committee and Chain-of-Command to strictly implement higher levels’ directives, orders, and guidance regarding military and defense work and to strictly observe combat readiness regulations.

The defense leader emphasized the need to foster collaboration with local forces, Party Committees, and authorities to closely monitor the local situation and address any potential issues in a timely manner. He urged the unit to ensure sufficient personnel, weapons, and equipment for training and unit construction, carrying out training plans effectively while ensuring safety, and successfully preparing for and organizing party congresses at all levels under the unit. He also highlighted the importance of promoting the education of Regiment 66’s tradition, a three-time heroic unit and a two-time heroic unit of Division 10, thus inspiring the troops to obtain more achievements.

The Chief of the General Staff asked Regiment 66 to overcome shortcomings pointed out by the inspection team to build a comprehensive strong, exemplary, and outstanding unit.
