Speaking at the working session with Division 10’s representatives, the deputy defense minister acknowledged and praised the unit’s outcomes obtained over the past time.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh asked the division to continue studying the Party’s guidelines, State’s policies, and resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense. He requested the unit’s Party Committee and Chain-of-command to foster education to orient troops’ thoughts, pay attention to renewing training programs, and take combat readiness capabilities to measure the quality of training activities. 

The deputy defense minister added that agencies and units under the division should focus on raising troops’ fitness, their ability to perform missions at night, and their coordination in combat.

Together with checking weapons and equipment to meet task requirements, the division should closely cooperate with the local Party Committee, authorities, and units to ensure political security and public order. The unit should also make thorough preparation for the celebration of its 50th founding anniversary, contributing to raising troops’ awareness of their unit’s tradition.

In the evening, the Deputy Defense Minister attended Kon Tum province’s ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of Dak To – Tan Canh Victory (April 24 1972 – 2022) and receive a certificate recognizing Mounts 1015 and 1049 as special national relics.
