GDP pays tribute to fallen soldiers in Quang Tri province
PANO – A delegation of the Ministry of National Defense (MND), led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, on January 20 visited Quang Tri to offer incense in commemoration of fallen soldiers and encourage Search and Collection Team 584 which is working in Tan My hamlet, Hai Le commune, Quang Tri town, Quang Tri province.

Up to now, the team has collected 40 sets of remains in the area of the Thach Han River, Tan My hamlet.
During the visit, General Nghia hailed the team’s efforts and achievements over the past time while asking them to continue to overcome difficulties, closely coordinating with localities for conducting the mission of search and repatriation of fallen soldiers' remains.
On this occasion, the delegation also offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to fallen soldiers and presented gifts to the Management Boards of the Truong Son and Road 9 National War Cemeteries and the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and General Vo Nguyen Giap's tomb in Quang Binh province.
