GDP meets with military delegates of National Youth Union Congress
PANO - The General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People’s Army held a meeting on December 8 in Hanoi with a delegation of military youths who are going to take part in the 11th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2017-2022 tenure under the chair of Lieutenant General Le Hien Van, the GDP’s Deputy Director.

Colonel Dinh Quoc Hung, Head of the
Military Youth Board and head delegate, informed the participants of the activities
of the congress, and the preparations of the military youth delegation.
At the meeting, several delegates
voiced their expectation of and honor in joining the congress, while also
being aware of the great responsibility they shared.
Speaking highly of the preparations
of the Military Youth Board and involved agencies and units, General Van asked
the military delegates to embrace the documents of the congress, voice
constructive opinions, contributing to the success of the congress.
He requested them to heighten
discipline, solidarity and responsibility, maintain the noble image of Uncle
Ho’s soldiers and make impressions on other delegates as well as report
difficulties which may emerge during the congress to functional agencies to map
out timely solutions.
