Fallen soldiers on Southern continental shelf commemorated
PANO - A delegation of the Naval Region 2 Command on January 10 held a ceremony to commemorate officers and soldiers who laid down their lives on the Southern continental shelf of the country.

According to the speech delivered at the event, the martyrs’ and heroes’ brave sacrifice was clear evidence of their absolute loyalty towards the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. It has contributed to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and embellishing the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army.
Moreover, their brave sacrifice has become a noble symbol of the heroic revolutionary qualities of naval troops in the new era.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation offered incense and flowers, observed a minute’s silence in tribute to the fallen soldiers sacrificing their lives to safeguard the Southern continental shelf of the country.
