At the meeting, Vice Director of the Khanh Hoa provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Xuan Trang held that Khanh Hoa people made great contributions to the national resistance wars, demonstrating their high sense of patriotism and responsibility for the cause of national salvation.

The province has more than 50,700 national contributors, including 980 Vietnamese heroic mothers (32 mothers still alive). Its localities, units, and businesses have funded much for the building of gratitude houses for wounded and sick soldiers.

Speaking at the meeting, General Can informed the guests of the whole military’s gratitude activities in the past time.

In 2018 alone, the military visited and presented gifts worth more than VND 677 billion, provided assistance for over 1,900 Vietnamese heroic mothers, spent VND 45 billion in repairing and building 678 gratitude houses, and presented 233 savings books and 780 breeding cattle to local policy beneficiaries and national contributors.

The general wanted that Khanh Hoa province’s national contributors would continue to uphold the revolutionary traditions, become bright examples for their children and young generations to follow, and contribute to their hometown’s development.
