During the visit, General Phan Van Giang expressed his delight at the success of the 7th National Congress of the Vietnam Veterans' Association for the 2022-2027 tenure.

The defense minister hoped that the VVA would closely coordinate with the CMC to undertake the mission of national construction and defense in the time to come. Meanwhile, the VVA members should exchange information and work together to effectively handle wrongful viewpoints and plots of hostile forces and unexpected issues, contributing to beautifying the images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new situation.

General Phan Van Giang extends New Year greetings to the VVA.

As the lunar New Year 2023 is drawing near, General Phan Van Giang extended Tet greetings to leaders and members of the VVA, wishing them a year of good health, happiness, success, and prosperity. On the occasion, Gen. Giang presented CMC’s Tet gifts to the VVA Central Committee.

On behalf of the VVA Central Committee, Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong thanked the CMC, especially Defense Minister Phan Van Giang, for their care and wholehearted support over the past time, underlining that their sentiments contributed to VVA’s task accomplishments and the success of its 7th National Congress for the 2022-2027 tenure.
