Lieutenant General Do Can presents Tet gifts to troops.

Having been briefed upon the units’ task performance and preparations for Tet, General Can hailed their timely observance of higher levels’ instructions and resolutions and the maintenance of combat readiness ahead of the Tet holiday. In addition, he urged them to continue practicing plans for combat readiness and fire and explosion prevention, as well as building regularity and ensuring material and spiritual life for troops.

On this occasion, General Can presented Tet gifts and extended New Year greetings to troops of Naval Region 1 and Regiment 213.

* The same day, another delegation of the GDP, led by its Deputy Director, Lieutenant General Le Hien Van, visited and offered Tet gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at Nho Quan Convalescent Center for National Contributors in Ninh Binh province and the Convalescent Centers for National Contributors of Kim Bang and Duy Tien in Ha Nam province.

During the visit, General Van inquired after wounded and sick soldiers and encouraged them to continue bringing into play the tradition of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, overcoming hardship and being good example for the youths. He also asked the centers’ staff and employees to heighten their responsibilities, continue to take good care of wounded and sick soldiers under treatment at the centers.

* Meanwhile, the delegation of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by its Deputy Chief, Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong, offered Tet gifts to troops of Division 395, the Military School of Military Region 3 (MR3) and the Hai Phong municipal Military Command.

General Huong, together with Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, MR3 Commander, inspected combat readiness of Battalion 25 of Division 395, and Tank-Armored Battalion of the Hai Phong municipal Military Command.
