Defense leaders encourage new recruits to well perform military service
PANO - Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San attended the ceremony held on February 10 in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province to hand over new recruits to military units in 2023.

In 2023, the district reached all set targets in enlistment work, with almost all of the new recruits enlisted in military units such as Military Region 2 and Lao Cai provincial Border Guard Command.
Addressing the event, Chairman of Bat Xat district People’s Committee Nguyen Quang Binh noted that the district implemented enlistment work with the joint efforts of the whole political system. He hoped that the new recruits would soon adapt to military environment and do their utmost to fulfill all assigned tasks.
At 8:10, the enlistment work was accomplished with absolute safety.

At the handover ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San and delegates presented flowers to encourage the enlistees to well perform military service.
On the same day, localities in Lao Cai province also held similar ceremonies for the local youths to join the military in 2023. Reportedly, the enlistment work in the whole province was well ensured as scheduled with good quality.
* On the same day, 12 districts and city in Son La province organized a similar ceremony in Moc Chau district to hand over its new recruits to military units. The event was attended by Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Moc Chau district congratulated and encouraged the new recruits to continue to promote the traditions of the homeland, and overcome difficulties to contribute to the cause of national construction and protection.
