Defense leader works with MR3
PANO - A delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, led by its Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, on March 20 worked with the Military Region 3 (MR3) Command and the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command on capital construction investment, barracks and military supplies.
During the working session, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San and the delegation directly inspected the construction progress and quality of several investment projects on the building of barracks of the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command, including the office and guest house of the provincial military command, and more.

Meanwhile, Major General Luong Van Kiem, MR3 Deputy Commander, and Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Commanding Officer of the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command, briefed the delegation on the results of the units’ investment-planning work, barracks building and military supplies.

After conducting the inspection and hearing reports, Gen. San hailed the outcomes gained by the two units in capital construction investment, barracks and military supplies.

The deputy defense minister also pointed out shortcomings and asked the MR3 Command, the provincial Military Command and functional agencies and units to promptly address them in the time to come.

He urged the MR3 Command and relevant agencies and units to strengthen coordination to deal with arising issues during the construction progress in a timely manner, pay attention to raising the capabilities of troops and ensuring the quality and progress of projects.

Regarding the barracks and military supplies, MR3 should promote inspection and close supervision of works to thoroughly grasp the progress of projects while giving recommendations to higher levels to handle arising problems in a timely and effective manner. During the implementation of projects, the units should carefully select reliable and experienced contractors and project executors, he added.
