Defense leader inspects Military Jail T771
PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem, Deputy Defense Minister, inspected the task performance of Military Jail T771 of the Department of Criminal Investigation on January 30.
In 2018, the unit seriously implemented higher levels’ directives on training and combat readiness, monitored people going in and out the detention camp, and maintained absolute safety and security in all situations.

General Chiem, who is also the head of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of the National Plan on Combat against Drug, Human Trafficking, Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit and on Practice of Thrift and Anti-wastefulness (Steering Committee 1389) under the Ministry of National Defense, praised the unit’s achievements over the past year and asked its staff to continue to self-study to improve their expertise, follow legal procedures, and collaborate with relevant agencies.
Additionally, he required them to enhance education for prisoners to correct their mind, and help them become good citizens after their sentence service.
