Dak Lak border troops enhance COVID-19 pandemic prevention
PANO – A mission of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command, led by its Political Commissar Senior Colonel Pham Huu Chien, visited and encouraged their teams which are undertaking COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control along the borderline.
After inspecting all of the checkpoints as part of the pandemic prevention, the mission evaluated that they have embraced higher levels’ instructions and directives while collaborating with other patrol forces to maintain border security.

Meanwhile, the inter-sector checkpoints on National Road 14C, which lie between Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Gia Lai provinces, have regularly monitored people and vehicles coming from other localities, required them to submit medical declaration forms and provide personal information, and checked their body temperatures.
Speaking at the working session, Senior Colonel Pham Huu Chien praised the units’ efforts in overcoming hardship and accomplishing their assigned tasks over the past two months. He urged the units’ troops to continue promoting responsibility in the time to come, contributing to successfully controlling and preventing the pandemic in border areas.
In particular, he noted that all relevant troops should take care of their health and maintain personal equipment to effectively implement pandemic prevention measures and fulfill their assigned missions.
