Sr. Col. Pham Van Quy, head of the Vocational Technical School of Cryptography addresses the event.

Major General Nguyen Van Oanh, Director of the Department of Military School Management under the General Staff, attended the event which was chaired by Senior Colonel Pham Van Quy, head of the vocational school.

The college is the upgrading of the Vocational Technical School of Cryptography founded on May 14, 1951 to meet the high requirements of the national resistance war against the French colonialists.

Since its foundation, the vocational school has made great contribution and gained outstanding achievements which were highly appreciated by the Party, State, and military. The school has been honored with a number of noble titles and orders, such as the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces in the Resistance War against the U.S. Imperialists” (in 2011), first-class Feat-of-Arms Order, and third-class Fatherland Protection Order (In 2021).

In the coming time, the college’s staff are determined to overcome difficulties and complete all assigned duties. The college will concretize its programs and plans with a focus on embracing higher levels’ directives and resolutions, implementing party and political work, actively and comprehensively renovating training models, programs and methods.

The school will also proactively apply technologies to improving educational quality, and foster a contingent of capable cadres and instructors.
