Conference seeks measures to raise quality of procuracy work
PANO - The Central Military Procuracy on May 9 hosted a three-day conference on military procuracy work in 2017 under the chair of its head, Major General Nguyen Van Khanh.

At the opening day, the conference reviewed results of the work last year and in the first five months of 2017, rolled out missions for the rest of this year, and pointed out some difficulties while carrying out the work.
In the second and third working day, the participants will discuss the UN Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, Vietnam’s relevant laws, as well as requirements for the sector. They will contribute some measures to raising the quality of task implementation of the Investigation Agency of the Central Military Procuracy and to build a contingent of professional cadres who meet all requirements of the judicial reform.
At the conference, General Khanh handed over decisions on the promotion of 12 military prosecutors to senior prosecutors in 2017.
