In the past, the agency provided helpful advice to the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Department of Politics. Its units worked closely with other military units in fighting and prosecuting criminals. The agency made contributions to ensuring political security and public order.
In acknowledgement of its great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and to army building, the Party and State decided to confer the noble order on the agency.
Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant General Tran Don, Deputy Minister of National Defense, praised and acknowledged the contributions and efforts of generations of troops of the Central Military Procuracy to fulfill assigned missions.
The general asked the unit to continue grasping the Party’s guidelines, the State’s law, Politburo’s resolutions, and the Central Military Commission’s resolutions on implementing the judicial reform strategy by 2020. The agency was requested to raise the quality and effectiveness of investigation, prosecution and adjudication.
