As reported at the conference, since the beginning of 2022, the Ministry of National Defense has taken synchronous measures to implement missions on digital transformation, especially focusing on the exploitation and use of the national database on population, online public services, e-documents, so on.
Thanks to effective solutions, the MND’s units have achieved remarkable results in e-government building. In detail, the Government's Cipher Committee has issued digital signatures for State agencies. Command 86 participates in monitoring information security for public services of ministries and branches, and the information systems of State agencies.
In addition, the MND’s public service portal has been connected with the National Public Service Portal to effectively exploit the national database on population. Therefore, more than 62 percent of administrative documents have been processed online through the national public service portal.
For the MND’s internal agencies, the Steering Committee has attached importance to applying information technology and digital transformation to specific missions, contributing to ensuring the safety of information and consolidating information technology infrastructure.
Concluding the conference, Gen. Vinh hailed the great efforts and outstanding achievements gained by the Ministry of National Defense in completing all set targets.
Also he honored units for their great contribution to e-government development tasks.
At the conference, he required agencies and units to review their task performances and draw up working plans for the second quarter of 2022. Meanwhile, the agencies and units should promote inspection to find effective solutions to improve the efficiency of the work while opening more courses to equip their staff with digital transformation information and organizing seminars on applying technology to digital transformation, to name but a few.

Regarding missions in the time ahead, the deputy defense minister asked Command 86 to regularly check the task implementation of agencies and units to make timely recommendations to higher levels, contributing to speeding up the MND’s digital transformation process.
