Coast Guard Region 3 accomplishes all training missions
PANO – The Coast Guard Region 3 Command, on July 7 in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, held a conference to review its 10-year implementation of Resolution 765-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission (CMC) on raising training quality in the 2013-2020 period and subsequent years.
The event was attended by its Political Commissar Major General Do Hong Do, its Second-in-Command Senior Colonel Le Dinh Cuong, and representatives of the region.
Over the past 10 years, the region’s chains-of-command have thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented CMC’s Resolution 765-NQ/QUTW on raising training quality in the 2013-2020 period and following years.

Accordingly, the whole unit has strictly adhered to training orders of the region’s commander as well as met task requirements in line with reality. Reportedly, it has accomplished all training plans with good results, contributing to raising training quality, protecting national sovereignty, observing laws, and building the regular, elite, gradually modern coast guard force.
The unit has held 22 competitions for its officers and five sports festivals; three live-fire exercises; six tactical training programs and live-fire drills at sea with good results and absolute safety. The whole unit has also compiled documents and made tools for training tasks.

Addressing the conference, Senior Colonel Le Dinh Cuong hailed the region’s achievements and efforts in training work over the past time. He also requested that the region’s Party Committee should raise their troops’ awareness of the importance of training work, and promote leadership in implementing training task comprehensively.

In the coming time, the whole region will focus on overcoming shortcomings in training, organizing many other competitions, and exploiting new and modern equipment and weapons, striving to best perform all assigned tasks.
