Ben Tre’s border guards help fishermen extinguish fire
PANO - Troops of the Ben Tre provincial Border Guard Command helped fishermen put a trawler fire under control on May 26, announced the command.

Earlier, trawler BT98354 TS caught fire when docking in An Quy hamlet, An Hoa Tay commune of Ben Tre province’s Ba Tri district. The trawler is owned by Phan Thi Tuyet Hong, a resident in Ap Thuan hamlet of An Hoa Tay commune.
Having been reported on the incident, Border Guard Flotilla 2 of the provincial Border Guard Command sent ship BP16-98-01 to work with Ham Luong Border Post to stamp out the fire.
Two trawlers fishing near the fire scene were also mobilized to extinguish the fire and warn other waterway vehicles going through the area.
At 4:15pm, the trawler fire was successfully put under control with no human casualties reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
