The competition draws the participation of eight teams with nearly 100 athletes and trainers who are commissioned and non-commissioned officers from Division 7, Division 9, Division 309, Armored Brigade 22, Air Defense Brigade 71, Artillery Brigade 434, Engineering Brigade 550, and the Military School of Army Corps 4.

During the competition, each team competes in three consecutive stages, namely overcoming obstacles, driving special cars, and shooting K59 pistols.

The event was an occasion for participants to show their capabilities. Together with being well-trained to use all kinds of equipment and vehicles proficiently and closely coordinate in search and rescue activities, athletes must have good physical health and endurance.

It aims to evaluate the quality of units’ search and rescue training and command and draw experience to improve the effectiveness of the mission in the coming time. Meanwhile, it is also an opportunity for the corps to select the best athletes for a search and rescue team to participate in the whole military’s sports festival on search and rescue in 2023.
