Activities in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation to be held
PANO - The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army has just issued instructions on holding activities in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation (June 11, 1948).

Accordingly, units and agencies in the whole army are asked to continue embracing President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, the Party’s guidelines, the State’s laws on patriotic emulation, and resolutions of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on emulation drives in the army, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of Party committees, chains of command, and organizations on the emulation and reward work as well as encouraging them to fulfill their assigned missions.
In addition, they should combine emulation movements with events, meetings, and exchanges, and accelerate the implementation of Resolution No 4 of the 12th Party Central Committee on enhancing Party building and revamping, as well as the movement of “Promoting tradition, devoting talents and deserving to be Uncle Ho's soldiers”.
Together with emulation movements, all military units were urged to boost information dissemination, hold artistic exchanges, and promptly commend good individuals from the levels of regiment and brigade.
Reportedly, the emulation drive to commemorate the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation will take place from May 1 to June 11 and all units must launch the drive before May 1.
