Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of the Military Youth Advisory Board and Head of the young officers delegation of the Vietnam People’s Army, emphasized that exchange program and experience-sharing activities between young officers of the two countries hold profound significance. They help educate the younger generations in both militaries about the special traditional friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba, while further deepening bilateral defense cooperation.

Highlighting the loyal and enduring ties between the two peoples, Colonel Fernando Quivillet Loyola, Head of the Political Department of the Eastern Command and Head of the young officers delegation of the Ministry of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, affirmed that the program serves as a pledge that relations between the two countries are not only grounded in tradition, but also oriented toward the future. It is a commitment that younger generations of both militaries will continue to preserve and strengthen the special Vietnam–Cuba solidarity.
