Vietnamese and Lao military medical staff exchange experiences
PANO – The Military Central Hospital 108 of the Vietnam People’s Army and the Military Hospital 103 of the Laos People’s Army cooperated to organize a medical seminar on November 24 in Hanoi.
The event was to review the results of cooperation in medical research between the two units in particular and the two military medical services in general, to offer an opportunity for medical staff to share experiences to enhance professionalism as well as agree on research contents in the forthcoming time. The seminar was also part of efforts to promote cooperation and friendship between the two armies and two peoples.
At the seminar, the participants highlighted the outcomes of research work as well as the application of research results in the treatment of patients in the two hospitals.
Major General Mai Hong Bang, the Military Central Hospital 108’s Director affirmed that the achievements in cooperation program between the two hospitals, helped raise healthcare quality as well as professionalism of their medical staff. He added that over the recent times, the Vietnamese hospital has sent hundreds of experts with medical equipment to the Lao hospital and the two sides regularly exchanged experiences through the telemedicine system and conducted biennial medical seminars.
