Welcoming the delegation were Senior Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong, Commanding Officer of the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command; Colonel Luong Hoang Giang, Political Commissar of the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command; and leaders of the Phu Tho Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong warmly welcomed the delegation and affirmed that, based on the long-standing friendship between the Vietnam People’s Army and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command is always ready to share effective approaches to implementing political work within the provincial armed forces.

Colonel Luong Hoang Giang briefed the delegation on key outcomes in the unit’s political work in recent years. In an open and friendly atmosphere, officers and trainees exchanged experience on conducting political work to support training and combat readiness missions; political education and troop management; and emulation and reward activities.

He emphasized that political work plays a core role, in which the decisive factor is building a human element with firm political steadfastness and absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the people, and the military. This is the foundation enabling each officer and soldier to accomplish assigned tasks under all conditions.

Speaking at the event, Major General Hoang Van Phai expressed appreciation for the thoughtful reception by the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command. He noted that the information and practical experience shared by the unit are valuable materials that will enrich the study program of the Cambodian officers.
