Vietnam attends 76th CISM
PANO - The 76th Meeting of the General Assembly of the International Military Sports Council (CISM) took place virtually on the evening of June 30 (Hanoi time) with the participation of representatives from 100 member countries.

The Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Director of the Department of Military Training under the General Staff Senior Colonel Bui Hong Quang, attended the meeting in Hanoi.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, CISM President Colonel Herve Piccirillo affirmed that the CISM’s virtual meeting demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship and friendship among the militaries of member countries. He hoped that the COVID-19 pandemic will be controlled soon so that activities within the CISM can be organized as planned.
At the event, delegates were briefed on CISM’s activities in 2020 and in the first half of 2021, its action program in the 2021-2023 period and the results of the CISM management board election.
They discussed and agreed on the time and venue to organize competitions within CISM in 2022 and approved the minutes of 75th CISM.
