Vietnam and Cuba to boost bilateral defense ties
PANO – A Vietnamese military mission led by Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Deputy-Defense Minister, Chief-of-the-General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army is on an official visit to Cuba from September 8 to 11.

The Vietnamese delegation’s working visit, at the invitation of Senior Lieutenant General Alvaro Lopez Miera, First Deputy-Minister and Chief-of-the-General-Staff of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces aims to boost bilateral ties between the two countries, the two armies and the two General Staffs of Vietnam and Cuba.
During the visit, the two sides will discuss measures to boost bilateral defense ties in the time to come.
