On September 1st, in Lao Cai city, a delegation from Hekou Border Checkpoint under the Yunnan provincial entrance and exit control station, China, exchanged with the Border Post of the Lao Cai International Border Gate under the Lao Cai Border Guard, during which the Chinese delegation congratulated the host on their National Day and wished their cooperation would further develop in an intensive manner.

Over the past time, the two sides have coordinated in border gate management and entrance and exit checking as well as in the fight against cross-border crimes, contributing to maintaining security and order at the two sides of the shared border.

On the same day, the Hekou Meeting Post, Nanxi Border Guard Battalion under the Mengzi Border Guard of the People’s Liberation Army of China, had exchanges with the four border posts of Ban Lau, Nam Chay, Muong Khuong and Pha Long, under Vietnam’s Lao Cai Border Guard.

Meanwhile, on September 2nd, the Meeting Post of Jingxi Border Guard, the Chinese province of Guangxi congratulated the Tra Linh Border Meeting Post under the Cao Bang provincial Border Guard (Vietnam) on the National Day.

At the meeting, the two sides recalled the fine relationship between the Parties, States and armed forces of Vietnam and China. They also highlighted their good cooperation and joint patrols over time and studied the organization of cultural and sports exchanges, thereby consolidating the solidarity, mutual understanding and trust between the two countries’ border protection forces and contributing to building a borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

Also on September 2nd, at the Tra Linh border gate, a Chinese mission from the Longbang border checkpoint congratulated Vietnamese troops of Tra Linh Border Gate and Ngoc Con Border Post under the Cao Bang provincial Border Guard on the National Day of Vietnam.
